Specialized TestingThe Greenbrier Clinic offers a wide variety of specialized testing.  | The clinic’s fully accredited laboratory conducts a nearly unlimited number of test procedures with modern, highly accurate instrumentation. The laboratory also saves valuable time for physicians and patients: 98% of all procedures ordered are performed on the premises, and 95% are reported on the day they are ordered. Specialized prostate specific antigen (PSA) testing is available as part of a prostate cancer screening protocol. | .jpg) | The Radiology Department, under the supervision of our board-certified radiologist, provides diagnostic x-ray, ultrasound, and gastrointestinal fluoroscopy examinations. Mammography is offered, as well as, the latest dual energy bone densitometry technology to evaluate patients for osteoporosis. Our mammography unit is certified by the American College of Radiology. A state-of-the-art 16 slice CT scanner is also available to allow clinic physicians to complement their thorough history and physical examination with preventive cardiovascular screening, as well as, detailed diagnostic imaging of the brain, chest, abdomen, and pelvis if indicated. |  | Cardiology services include the high-resolution electron beam tomography (EBT) scan, utilized to assess coronary artery calcification. The clinic’s Noninvasive Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory is fully accredited by the Intersociety Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular and Echocardiographic Laboratories. Services include nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, Doppler echocardiography, stress echocardiography, extracranial carotid artery imaging, Holter monitoring, segmental blood pressure studies and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. These services are supervised and interpreted by our physician staff, under the direction of our board-certified cardiologist.
Advanced lipid studies are available (Berkeley Heart Lab) and extensive counseling is offered for management of lipid disorders. | .jpg) | Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy (evaluation of esophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine) are performed in our Ambulatory Surgical Center for cancer screening purposes and symptom assessment by our board-certified gastroenterologist.
